A transition to sustainable lighting
The Warriors’ decision to upgrade their gym’s ceiling lighting system was a strategic move to create a more modern, energy-efficient, and customisable space. By replacing standard lamped ceiling lights with LDL’s bespoke LED fittings, the team aimed to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of the gym while improving energy efficiency and providing flexible lighting control.
To meet these goals, a new suspended linear LED lighting system was installed, featuring bespoke dimmable fittings available in both white and cherry red LED options. The strategic placement of these lights at varying heights was designed to create a dynamic visual effect, enhancing the gym’s atmosphere and providing a more engaging environment for athletes during their workouts.
The lighting system was further enhanced with Bluetooth integration, allowing seamless control via a switching arrangement. By incorporating the Casambi app, the system provided gym staff and management with the ability to easily adjust brightness and colour settings for different workout zones. This flexibility ensured that lighting could be tailored to suit a wide range of activities, from intense training sessions to more relaxed stretches, improving the overall gym experience.
This bespoke lighting solution not only elevated the gym’s visual appeal but also optimized its energy efficiency, making it a more sustainable and adaptable environment for the Warriors. The system’s customisable features allowed for greater control over the gym’s lighting needs, ensuring that each workout space could be properly illuminated to suit the specific requirements of various activities.
