LDL Lighting Ltd began its life trading as Light Distribution Ltd in 1995 with a plan to manufacture and distribute core industrial and commercial lighting from its North West production facility in Wigan.

The company's directors strived to achieve a strong presence within the UK lighting industry and the directors still maintain the same values and goals.

In 2020 it became clear to the company's directors need to emphasise the company's standing as a true UK lighting manufacturer.

A rebrand to "LDL Lighting Ltd" was needed. The rebranding helped to define the company's core business whilst maintain our long-standing reputation and service.

We work across all sectors including commercial workspace, large residential projects, public sector, healthcare, industrial and education. Our projects vary in size from small installs to major projects with thousands of luminaires.

Our fully qualified design teams utilise the latest in lighting design technology including our own in-house photometric test lab.

Our depth of experience, which spans more than 25 years, adds real value, knowledge and the expertise to develop effective lighting solutions.
